Armoury District Design Walk

Excited to be a part of The Armoury District Design Walk through Crystalworks Gallery this upcoming Friday September 22nd and Saturday September 23rd!! This is an off site event as part of the Interior Design Show. Art Exhibition at Crystal Works Gallery Extended to May 13, 2024!

I am happy to announce that my “Creation” series exhibition at Crystalworks Gallery has been extended to end May 13 2024! Crystalworks Gallery is a beautiful space with the most amazing Crystal pieces. They are located at 1760 West 3rd Avenue in Vancouver. ARTWALK( Artists In Our Midst)

I am so excited! Artwalk( Artists In Our Midst)is this weekend May 27 & 28. The hours on both days are 11am-5pm. I am thrilled to have my Creation series exhibited at Crystalworks Gallery alongside the beautiful mixed media photography of gallery owner Karen Lipsett! I will be at the gallery both days. Crystalworks is located at 1760 West 3rd Ave. in Vancouver. Come by and say hi!!💓

ARTISTS IN OUR MIDST AT CRYSTALWORKS GALLERY

I am excited to announce that I will be participating this year in Artists in Our Midst(West of Main Artwalk) through Crystalworks Design Ltd. on May 27th and 28th from 11am to 5pm on both dates. Crystalworks is a stunning crystal gallery and I am thrilled to exhibit my “Creation” series alongside their beautiful pieces. My exhibit will be running until the middle of September.

They have a beautiful new space at 2421 Granville Street and their hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 5:30pm(Closed Sunday and Monday). I am excited to announce that my painting PLAYFUL PLACES will be showcased as part of the “Abstracted” Exhibition at the Federation Gallery (Federation of Canadian Artists) on Granville Island. This piece is inspired by the shapes, forms and colors that bring me joy . The “Abstracted” Exhibition begins today August 15th at 1pm and runs until August 28th. Purchase of this piece may be made through the Federation Gallery at sales@artists.ca The Federation Gallery is located at 1241 Cartwright Street. Their summer hours are Monday through Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 10am-3pm.

Abstract art makes meaning of the world around us by reshaping it through color, line, form and texture. It highlights the role of imagination in the process of creation. It demands close observation and deep reflection. One must take a good long look to carefully unveil the layers that are unfolding on the canvas. Abstraction in its many forms highlights the beauty that artists can create when they seek to work outside of the everyday.

VANCOUVER SALON

I am thrilled to announce that my painting SUBLIME will be showcased as part of the “Vancouver Salon” Exhibition at the Federation Gallery (Federation of Canadian Artists) on Granville Island. This piece is inspired by my love of nature and is inlaid with Swarovski crystals which twinkle under certain light sources. The “Vancouver Salon” Exhibition begins August 1st at 1pm and runs until August 14th. The Paris Salon initially began as the official art exhibition of the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and throughout the 18th and 19th centuries was considered one of the largest and most important art events in the western world.

These days, the salon style exhibition typically refers to the way in which the artworks are hung, in large groupings of work that extend from the ceiling to the floor. This means that the 2022 Vancouver Salon is chock full of gorgeous artworks, displaying a broad range in styles and mediums. With over 100 works, the gallery is brimming with unique art for every enthusiast.

I am happy to announce that my painting EVOLUTION will be showcased at the “On the Edge” Exhibition at the Federation Gallery (Federation of Canadian Artists) on Granville Island. This piece is infused with natural crystals including pyrite, obsidian, abalone shell, amethyst, garnet, selenite, and amazonite throughout the layers. EVOLUTION is inspired by the sea and all the mysteries that lie within it. The “On the Edge” Exhibition begins June 27th at 1pm and runs until July 17th.
